Channel 4's Cathy Newman visits Highlands
6th form and Year 11 students were treated to a talk by Channel 4 News Journalist Cathy Newman prior to the Easter Holiday.
The first female Channel 4 news anchor spoke to students on a wide variety of topics including Brexit, challenging Nigel Farage, feminism and told stories from her career.
Head Girl Stephanie Wrigglesworth said:
It was an inspiring talk, it was great to hear from a woman's stance important current issues and how she dealt with the challenges she faced in her career.
