Chosen from many applicants, one lucky year 12 student, Berat , had the incredible opportunity to take part in a highly competitive three-day work experience programme with Kainos, exploring software engineering, AI, and cybersecurity and a further day with Bigbite.

From tackling real-world coding challenges to engaging with industry experts, the experience was both insightful and hands-on. Highlights included developing a healthcare chatbot using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, delving into ethical hacking techniques, and gaining career advice from tech professionals. Berat created a preview page where viewers could test the chatbot and access healthcare information; his project was nominated as one of the best projects.

This unforgettable experience not only strengthened their technical skills but also cemented their passion for a future in technology.
