During their recent four-day A level Spanish, art and photography trip to Barcelona, students swapped the classroom for the city, immersing themselves in Spanish culture through sightseeing, photography and language practice. Highlights included La Boqueria Market, the Gothic Quarter, Barceloneta and Port Vell, the breathtaking Park Güell and 4D Gaudí Experience, a guided tour of La Sagrada Familia, El Poble Espanyol, time along La Rambla, a visit to the Camp Nou store on match day, and finishing at the Picasso Museum. Students embraced every opportunity to practise Spanish (and some Catalan) in real-life situations, making the experience both educational and memorable.
