Homework task:

  • Students will have a key terms worksheet for each unit of work. They will be asked to study and learn a set number of these key terms each week. These will be tested at the beginning of lessons.

  • Students will complete necessary coursework preparation tasks at home and outside of lessons.

Resources:

Google Classroom: 

  • Unit Key Terms Worksheet.

  • Coursework Slides or document.

Frequency:

Weekly.

Support:

  • Google Classroom.

  • Lesson slides.

  • After school support sessions, check with the teacher for what days.

Additional information:

Work is completed digitally on Google Classroom.

Where students are asked to produce something, e.g. photos, they are expected to have these uploaded to the Google Classroom assignment before the next lesson.

Homework task:

  • Students engage with a stimulus material to complete a case study, answering questions to develop an understanding of media topics in the real world.

  • Students will complete necessary coursework tasks at home and outside of lessons.

Resources:

Google Classroom: 

  • Slides or documents.

  • Links included.

Frequency:

One case study per half term.

Additionally there is a requirement for elements of coursework completed outside of school, this needs to be self-regulated by students to meet deadlines.
