Open Evening – Monday 12 October 2026

We are looking forward to welcoming prospective students and their families to our Open Evening on Monday 12 October 2026.

Our Open Evening provides an opportunity to discover more about life at Highlands School, meet our staff and students, explore our facilities and find out what makes our school such a special place to learn.

Headteacher’s presentation & school tour

There will be three sessions available to book, with the headteacher’s presentation beginning promptly at:

• 4.30pm
• 6.00pm
• 7.30pm

Each session will last approximately 90 minutes and will begin with a presentation from the headteacher, followed by a guided tour of the school. During the tour, families will have the opportunity to visit subject areas, meet members of staff and learn more about the curriculum and opportunities available at Highlands.

Please ensure you arrive promptly for your booked session. Late admission to the headteacher’s presentation may be refused in order to minimise disruption. Due to the high volume of attendees, if you miss your allocated session, we cannot guarantee entry to an alternative session.

Important Information

We kindly ask that each booking is for a maximum of three people, including children.

Parking within the school grounds is limited and a parking space cannot be guaranteed. Where possible, we strongly encourage families to walk to the school or travel by alternative means.

Due to the high level of interest in our Open Evening, priority will be given to parents and carers of students currently in year 6.

All visitors must register in advance. Once registered, parents and carers will receive an email confirming their place at the event. Only visitors who have registered and received confirmation will be permitted entry.

Open Morning – Wednesday 14 October 2026

We are looking forward to welcoming prospective students and their families to our Open Morning on Wednesday 14 October 2026.

Our Open Morning provides families with the opportunity to visit Highlands during a normal school day, see the school in action and experience what day-to-day life at Highlands is like.

Open Morning Sessions

There will be two sessions available to book:

• 9.10am
• 10.15am

Each session will last approximately 40 minutes. Visitors are asked to select one of the above time slots when registering.

Please arrive promptly for your booked session and no earlier than 10 minutes before your allocated time.
