It's time to get creative and design your very own trainer for an Olympic or Paralympic athlete.

Take part in the design a trainer challenge as part of the Get Set summer competition! Once you've made your trainer as unique and colourful as possible, email them to getset@getset.co.uk for the chance to win a pair of Adidas trainers!

TIME REQUIRED: 60 - 120 minutes

EQUIPMENT: Art materials: paper, pens, paints, pencils, crayons.

CHALLENGE OUTCOMES

• Plan and develop an eye-catching trainer.
• Choose a slogan to include on the trainer showing support for Team GB and Paralympics GB.
• Consider the use of red, white and blue to complement the Team GB and Paralympics GB kit for Tokyo 2020.
• Use the template attached bellow and see the competition entry form. Once complete, email them to getset@getset.co.uk for the chance to win a pair of Adidas trainers.
• The competition is open until Friday 18th July 2021.

Year 10 students can obtain their GCSE results from INSIGHT (see link (i) in menu above) using their school login details. These will be available from 10am.

The ofqual standardisation model ensured that the distribution of grades awarded to the cohort was similar to that of previous years.

We have written to all students and parents explaining the process of awarding grades this summer and the options and support now available. Please see the letter and an ofqual guide linked below

First, you should know how proud of you we are. You have been incredibly resilient in the face of an enormous challenge, a global pandemic. This has been a very uncertain time and you have responded with dignity, maturity and patience. We are immensely impressed by you all. 

We know that the news reports over the past weeks about how A level grades were calculated this year created confusion and uncertainty. Today many students were awarded grades in line with their expectations, however, some students were not. We want parents and students to know that we are here to support you, and we are doing everything we can to help students go on to the appropriate university course, apprenticeship or other destination.
