Highlands students are celebrating their successful A-level results with 86% of students going to their destinations of choice. Students have attained some fantastic grades and will be moving on to a number of competitive universities.

Congratulations to the Year 10 students who participated in the Jack Petchey Speakout Challenge workshop on Wednesday 12th December. They all contributed incredibly well to the activities and were able to produce and deliver engaging speeches on their chosen topic.

The government has released the annual progress measures for sixth forms and we are delighted that Highlands has an A Level score of +0.25, which confirms that our students are making progress significantly better than expected.

King of the Ring

Tom aims for the Premier League

Congratulations to Tom Prime (Year 13) who has been nominated and accepted into the FA Centre Of Refereeing Excellence (CORE). Tom has been refereeing football for 3 years with the Arsenal Youth Academy and adult matches in the Arthurian League. The CORE programme is a fast track refereeing programme that will allow Tom to make more rapid progress towards professional refereeing, aiming for the Premier League.
