Highlands chess tournament

Over the past few months, students in all years have been competing in the school's annual chess tournament. The tournament culminated in a dramatic best-of-three finale between last year's champion from year 8, Fedor (Willow), and a new challenger from year 12, Charlie (Oak). Charlie won 2-1 after three intense matches showcasing a range of advanced openings.
