MFL Trip to Valencia
On Friday 27th April, 33 Year 8 pupils went to a trip to Valencia.
They spent three days in the capital of the famous autonomous community located in the eastern coast of Spain. They visited the Science Museum, the Oceanographic, the largest aquarium in Europe, the Ciutat Vella, the old city district, Valencia Cathedral, the Mestalla Football Stadium and the Horchateria Santa Catalina. They also had a taste of traditional Spanish food such as paella and churros with chocolate.
It was an opportunity to encourage students to practice and enhance their Spanish skills and to learn about Spanish life and culture. Here is what one of the pupils said about the trip:
One thing I enjoyed was we were allowed to go into the shops by ourselves and I also loved the churros we ate one night. My favourite part of the trip was the dolphin show, they were really cool.
