Jack Petchey Speakout Challenge

Congratulations to the Year 10 students who participated in the Jack Petchey Speakout Challenge workshop on Wednesday 12th December.  They all contributed incredibly well to the activities and were able to produce and deliver engaging speeches on their chosen topic.

Special mention should go to Christian Michael and Dae’Shaun Dyer-Briscoe for their focus and the clear progress they made with their public speaking skills. Nicholas Vachou, Melusine Faverjon-Jenkins and Archie Matthews all produced particularly well-structured and skilfully delivered speeches.

The standard was so strong and the competition so fierce that the  judges found it impossible to choose an outright winner to go forward to the Enfield regional final. Huge congratulations go to Jake Doyle, Ria Demetriou, Abigail Coughlan and Mia Benbow who were joint winners on the day and go through to an internal final to be held in the new year. Well done to you all!
