Additional information:

  • In year 7 and 8, students are set homework every three lessons which is roughly every half term.

  • In year 9 students have quizzes online but also are set work to rehearse aspects of the dances they are performing in lessons.

  • Year 10 - there are bespoke tasks for each student, as well as a homework booklet every half term and a quiz .

  • Year 11 - there are bespoke tasks for each student, as well as a homework booklet every half term and a quiz .

Resources:

Quizzes and booklets are all uploaded onto Google Classroom.  Booklets are also given in paper form to GCSE Dance year 10 and 11 students.

Additional information:

  • For the GCSE Dance students in both year 10 and 11, all students are on a bespoke programme which enables them to reach their full learning potential and this incorporates homework. There are GCSE Dance homework booklets, but some students will have additional homework written into their planners which supports their GCSE Dance progress and is bespoke to their own learning journey in GCSE Dance. Examples of bespoke homework might be researching a particular composer, planning a rehearsal strategy in year 11 or choreographing a short sequence ready for the next lesson.
