Director of Science and STEM

We are seeking to appoint a director of science and STEM to lead, manage, develop the Science Department. To secure excellence in terms of curriculum, teaching, outcomes and the development of staff.  To ensure the highest possible standards of student behaviour, personal development and well being in the department. To devise and deliver a high impact whole school STEM strategy.

The position is full time.

The successful candidate will report to SLT.

The salary is L10-L13 Outer London (£54,571 to £58,465).

Science lead practitioner

To assist the Director of Science and STEM in the robust self-evaluation of teaching and learning and make a significant contribution to improving  the quality of teaching and learning within the department.  To ensure their own lessons consistently model best practice.

Job Details

The position is full time.

The successful candidate will report to the Director of Science and STEM.

The salary is on the lead practitioner pay scale—highly competitive.

Pastoral Admin Officer

The Pastoral Admin Officer will be part of the central admin team, with responsibility for all admin relating to pastoral matters: behaviour, detentions, and exclusions. 

The position is full time.

The successful candidate will report to a Deputy Headteacher or Assistant Headteacher

The salary is Scale 5 (actual salary range £21,984- £24,036 p.a.)

Events and Publicity Admin Officer

The Events and Publicity Admin Officer will be part of the central admin team, with responsibility for co-ordinating and promoting all school events and publicity materials.

36 hours x 40 weeks per annum (some days would be worked during school holidays)

Reprographics Admin Assistant

The Reprographics Admin Assistant will be part of the central admin team, with responsibility for the reprographics needs for the school.

The position is full time

The successful candidate will report to the office manager.

The salary is Scale 3 (actual salary range £18,456 - £18,792 p.a.)

36 hours per week x 39 weeks per year
