We  are seeking to appoint a director or English and whole school literacy to lead, manage and develop the English Department. To secure excellence in terms of curriculum, teaching, outcomes and the development of staff.  To ensure the highest possible standards of student behaviour, personal development and well being in the department. To develop and deliver a high impact whole school literacy strategy.

The position is full time.

The successful candidate will report to SLT.

The salary is L10-L13 Outer London (£54,571 to £58,465).

The post starts September 2020.

We are seeking to appoint a director of maths and whole school numeracy to lead, manage, develop the Maths Department. To secure excellence in terms of curriculum, teaching, outcomes and the development of staff.  To ensure the highest possible standards of student behaviour, personal development and well being in the department. To develop and deliver a high impact whole school numeracy strategy.

Head of Citizenship

To lead, manage, develop the Citizenship Department. To secure excellence in terms of curriculum, teaching, outcomes and the development of staff.  To ensure the highest possible standards of student behaviour, personal development and well being in the department.

The position is full time.

The salary is TLR 2B (Outer London).  

The post starts September 2020.

 

Head of History

Office Manager

Scale 6

Highlands is seeking an Office Manager who would be responsible for overseeing the daily administration of the school office, including line managing administrative staff. They will also provide admin support to the teaching school, and deputise for the school manager/head’s PA, and the cover admin officer, during absences.

Relief Admin Assistant

Scale 2 - £12.30 per hour

We are seeking to appoint a part time Admin Assistant who will provide admin support to assist in the smooth running of the GCSE revision classes.  This would involve supporting the Assistant Head in organising the revision classes, taking registers, and chasing up non-attendees.  Please note that this role takes place during school holidays over the Easter holidays and May Half term.  Hours are flexible, but are likely to be mornings only from Monday 6th April – Thursday 9th April, and from Tuesday 13th April – Friday 17th April, and also Tuesday 26th May – Friday 29th May.   There may also be the possibility of some relief temporary work at busy times during the school term.  Applicants should have good literacy and computer skills and be comfortable working on their own.
