Head of Geography

To lead, manage and develop the geography department. To secure excellence in terms of curriculum, teaching outcomes and the development of staff.  To ensure the highest possible standards of student behaviour, personal development and well-being in the department.

Job details

The position is permanent and full time.

The successful candidate will report to the senior leadership team.

The salary is MPS/UPS (outer London) with a TLR 2C(i).

The post starts September 2024.

Communication Support Worker

To assist in the support and inclusion of students with specific educational needs within the school.  Communication support workers (CSWs) play an invaluable role in helping to meet the needs of many students with SEN and ensuring they receive their curriculum by aiding the student(s) to learn effectively as possible both in group situations and individually, inside and outside of the classroom.

Job details

The position is 36 hours x 39 weeks per year, permanent

The successful candidate will report to the head of the deaf provision

The salary is Scale 5 (actual salary range: £25,948 - £28,011 p.a. inc)

The post starts as soon as possible.
