0.7 Teacher of French and Spanish (Maternity Cover)

MPS + Outer London Allowance.

Required January 2019.

We are seeking an enthusiastic teacher to join our well-resourced MFL Faculty which teaches French and Spanish up to GCSE and sometimes to A level, has an attached computer suite and multiple Foreign Language Assistants. You will be an inspirational and exciting teacher with the ability to teach French and Spanish up to KS4 and be keen to inspire students to take your favourite languages at A level in future.

This post would be suitable for either an experienced teacher or NQT – as a teaching school, Highlands has a well developed support programme for NQTs.

Science Teacher MPS/UPS + Outer London Allowance

Are you an inspirational teacher looking to join a fantastic Science team?

We are seeking an enthusiastic teacher to join our excellent Science Faculty which teach a variety of courses between them, including: Biology, Chemistry and Physics GCSE; Dual Award GCSE Science and multiple A level groups in Biology, Chemistry,  Physics and Psychology. You will be a committed and exciting teacher able to teach Science up to KS4. A level teaching may be available for a suitably qualified candidate. 

This position would be suitable for both experienced colleagues and newly qualified teachers - the school has a well-established support programme for NQTs.

0.5 A level Sociology Teacher (Maternity Cover)

MPS/UPS + Outer London Allowance.

Required from January 2019.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspirational individual to join our popular and successful Humanities Faculty. We teach multiple groups of A level Sociology and you would be the main teacher. You will be an inspirational and outstanding teacher with the ability to teach Sociology at A level. You would teach on Mondays, Wednesdays and Tuesday afternoons.

Communication Support Worker

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic individual to provide communication and learning support to deaf and hearing impaired students. Applicants should have Level 3 BSL, and be able to start in January 2019.

Hours:  21 hours per week x 39 weeks p.a. 

Actual Salary £11,506 - £12,530 per annum (Scale 5).
